In the Netherlands we have a dream, and we are working hard to make it reality!

Let all the people with disabilities work together, to share their POI.

A POI is a Point Of Interest, so information, that is location based.

Information, that is especially of interest for people with disabilities, like:

  • accessible toilets, campingsites, playgrounds
  • restaurants where there is enough light to read lips
  • places where you can fish or spot birds, in a wheelchair
  • the exact location of the busstop
  • the bar where the bartender knows signlanguage
  • events, sportclinics, etc, etc

Let us work together!

We are building a huge database, together with a lot of people and organisations.

Let our databases communicate, let's build a giant network.

For now, there is one way to access the database and share your own information; the Layer Zonder Drempels, a free Layer ("zonderdrempels") within the free app Layar, available on a lot of smartphones and Tablet-PC's. For more information, visit the Layar website.

We are building a database (over 106.000 POI, mostly in the Netherlands, but also in Belgium, Bulgaria, Denmark, Germany, England, France, Hungary, (Northern) Ireland, Luxembourg, Italy, Monaco, Austria, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Switzerland).

We are building the database, so that we can make special types of navigation apps, that are especially designed to be used by disabled people. Apps that are available on the different brands of phones and tablets, OS etc.

So everybody can access and share the information!
